Sean Cavanagh
Sean trained as a theatre designer at the Central School of Art & Design and RADA.  He has worked for many theatres throughout the UK and abroad and is a director of the York based Riding Lights Company.  Productions designed include 'Pickwick' for the Hungarian National Theatre in Budapest and Toby Roberston's acclaimed revivsl (for the first time in 400 years) of Shakespeare's 'Edward III', seen at the Cambridge and Taormina Festivals.  Premieres include Christopher Neame's 'Monsignor Quixote', Robin Hawdon's adaptation of 'The Old Devils' by Kingsley Amis, Jeremy Brook's translationa of Ibsen's 'Enemy of the People' and Chekov's 'The Cherry Orchard', Paul Burbridge's stage adaptation of 'Three Men In A Boat' for Riding Lights and 'Stepping Out The Musical'.  Recent touring productions include 'Madam Butterfly', 'Outside Edge', and the musical 'The Sound of Fury', based on the life of Billy Fury, 'Of Mice and Men' and the Riding Lights production of Shakespeare's 'A Winter Tale'.
West End redits include the settings for 'The Tempest', 'When Did You Last See Your Trousers?', 'Sherlock Holmes - The Musical', 'Never The Sinner', Treasure Island' and most recently 'The Miracle Worker' (Comedy Theatre), 'In Praise of Love' (Apollo Theatre), 'The Roy Orbinson Story' (Whitehall Theatre) and 'The Aspern Papers' (Wyndham's Theatre).
