The show was pretty amazing - it was odd seeing most of the cast we're used to with a few different people, but this certainly doesn't make it a bad thing! From the outset it was clear the show was going to be amazing - the theatre was packed and buzzing with excitement! Nadine has an amazingly strong and expressive voice, with a style very different from Vivienne - but again, this is no bad thing as it gives a new perspective on the show. Glen makes an impressive Jo too. His vocals aren't as strong as Arvid or Eaton, but they are still incredibly impressive, and his acting is amazing. Close Every Door was full of despair and dread for the future. His antics in "Song of the King" had everyone in hysterics, his anger in "Grovel Grovel/Benjamin Calypso" was palpable, and when he reached out to Benjamin just before "Benjamin Calypso" everyone held their breath - hoping that he would just make up there and then. For the first time I realised how painful it was for Jo to frame Benjamin. And when he knelt at the end of the story, as he met Jacob again I was almost in tears.

It seemed like the bows could go on forever, and Glen got a well-deserved standing ovation from the audience before the reprise of Close Every Door. I seem to have waxed lyrical about Glen. but each and every member of the cast was stunning in their own way - making it a show I won't forget.

Well done everyone!

WOW!!!!

To say it was a fab show would be the understatement of the century! I was completely transfixed and my cheeks hurt from the continual grin upon my face! I was in a perpetual state of goosebumpyness all the way through and it was all I could
do to keep from singing along!  Thank goodness for the encore when the audience were invited to get up, dance and sing!!!

As someone who used to tread the boards and who now works (part time) as a scenic
designer/artist, I cannot praise the cast and crew highly enough. I *know* the hard
work that goes into *all* aspects of a production, especially when it comes to
making the last performance as fresh as the first.  To all involved in "Joseph", I thank you  from the bottom of my heart for giving my family and I a night of extreme bliss.  You are all wonderful!
