Well you all probably gather by now Joseph is my favourite musical. I was so excited when I heard Stephen Gately was to take on the role. I booked my tickets a few months in advance and ended up in the third row.  I went with my sister Claire as she loves it too. When we were younger we were both in the local choir and performed a 20 minute version of it. Before the start of the show we were both reminsicing of what it used to feel like
getting into our positions behind the curtain and could imagine the cast doing that now and how nervous we felt! Once the music started I just felt this surge of excitment. My sister was whispering 'ooo the rhythem-can you feel it?'Cause it's just wonderful.  The first song happens to be one of my many favourites and Vivienne sings it so nicely.  The new costumes were nice to see. I looked round and could see wear all the brothers were sitting on the steps. Then waited in anticipation for Stephen Gately to turn round and reveal himself as Joseph.  From then on it was wonderful. I can't think of anothe word to describe it! Although I wasn't sure of some of the songs Stephen sang such a Close
Every Door that didn't spoil my enjoyment of the show or his performance really. I had to expect that has he hadnt been doing it for long.  Trevor Jary as the Pharoah is the icing on the cake for me. I love his performances and can never fault them.  By the end of the show I'd had tears in my eyes from the emotional reunion of Joseph and his family and was dancing and singing away. My hands were red raw from clapping!  My only regret is that I didn't book tickets for the whole weekend!
